About the role
Qatar Airways is seeking a Design QA Specialist to join our Enterprise UX team within IT, ensuring that digital products meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and visual consistency. This role plays a critical part in maintaining design excellence by conducting UI/UX reviews, usability testing, and design quality assessments before digital experiences go live. As a guardian of design quality, you will bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring that visual designs are accurately translated into the final product and that no usability gaps impact the user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end UI/UX audits, ensuring adherence to the design system, accessibility (WCAG), and usability best practices.
- Validate visual consistency, typography, color usage, interaction behaviors, and responsiveness across different screen sizes, platforms, and devices.
- Perform pre-launch UI checklist reviews to identify design inconsistencies, usability issues, and accessibility gaps.
- Ensure that all UI components, interactive elements, and animations behave as intended.
- Work closely with UX designers, UI specialists, front-end developers, and product managers to ensure that designs are properly implemented.
