Advise / suggestion on cost centre creation Reporting To run fixed cost breakup for G&A and COGS, utility and overhead report, plant-wise depreciation report and fixed cost report by department and by GL account. Preparation of data pack for IQ reporting for quarterly reporting. Data for Ministry of Economics and Statistics, yearly. Data for producer price index and other external agencies. By product inventory details and its sales history for management reporting. Non-moving inventory item report and stock analysis report for leadership meetings. Create discoverer report as per business requirement. Inventory/Material Accounting functions: Daily running of create accounting for all inventory organizations and completing multi-period accounting. Check for stuck transactions and getting it cleared with help of IT. To check for any pending or uncosted transaction in the inventory module. Monthly Inventory/GL reconciliation (MAD Summary). Running “transfer general entries to GL – cost management program, “transfer Journal Entries to GL- receiving”. “Create Accounting Receiving”. Create absorption element as per need/required changes. Raw Material landed cost management in system. Overhead absorption rate update in the system Debit note / credit note implication workings particularly for oxide pellet and scrap purchases and its loading on the inventory carrying cost in the system. Inventory reconciliation, monthly reconciliation of inventory subledger balances with GL. Participate in physical stock verification process. Assist with data for dealing with the statutory auditors for Half yearly and Year end audits relating to inventory and product costing. Policies, Systems & Processes Co-ordinate with the IT department for getting developed various reports for faster and correct reporting. Involve at the time of system upgrade. To work with IT for various automation processes Continuous Improvement Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction. Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Follow the HSE rules, regulations and procedures of the company, and report any HSE concerns and incidents to the responsible person Other Carry out any additional tasks as required by the Management. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Minimum Qualifications: University Degree in Finance CA, CMA or CIMA qualification would be preferable. Minimum Experience: 6 years’ experience in Management Accounting in a manufacturing organisation. Steel Industry experience would be preferable. Revenue Accounting Manager,
ideally a candidate with a passion for systems accounting, to drive revenue recognition process, decisions, systems and reporting.
In our finance function we aspire to set the industry pace for speed and accuracy of reporting. We aim to achieve this by driving our product pricing and terms, contracting, sales processes and systems into alignment.
We are looking for a
professionally qualified accounting leader with expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606
to build scalable contract review and revenue recognition processes. This lead will work across teams including product management, legal, FP&A, sales operations and commercial business systems to align understanding and ensure that the accounting and revenue recognition treatment of contracts and products is straightforward and correct, with a very high level of automation. Perhaps unusually we
prefer a leader with deep personal interest in the software and technology industry, and ideally some data analytics and software engineering experience . The Revenue Accounting Manager will ensure the proper application of revenue accounting guidance for public market scrutiny. Ideally they will also be familiar with Systems Accounting and able to work effectively with technical teams and software engineers.
This is a management position which requires confidence in presentation, setting goals, and directing the work of others. We expect to grow a team focused on revenue, with a particular emphasis on systems and automation, that puts us at the top of the leaderboard for clarity, correctness, transparency and speed of reporting as a global tech company.
Location:
This role is home-based in EMEA time zones, with the option to be based in our London office. It will report to our Global Head of Accounting.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Management, Sales Operations, Sales, Legal, and FP&A teams to design standard contracts Drive process and configuration improvements in NetSuite and related systems for end-to-end automation of the revenue life cycle Incorporate industry best practices and emerging technology to raise the bar for reporting speed and accuracy Review and evaluate the revenue recognition impact of non-standard contracts and new products Lead, mentor and develop a team of revenue accounting and systems accounting professionals Assist in month-end revenue close, including reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, and other reporting Develop and maintain effective internal over revenue transactions and reporting Research and write accounting memos on significant revenue recognition and other policy matters Act as the primary liaison with external auditors in matters related to order-to-cash
Valued Skills And Experience

Job Summary and Purpose Plan, coordinate, supervise and control the efficient maintenance of the General Ledger function, while ensuring compliance with the all relevant accounting policies and procedures of the company.
Key Accountabilities
Handle and oversee all GL related activities for QGTC and all subsidiaries companies, while ensuring compliance with the company approved related policies and procedures.
Supervise all month-end and year-end accounting procedures including preparation of journal entries for General Ledger function.
Monitor and control the monthly and quarterly reconciliation of accounts against respective ledgers, with follow-up and clearing of any outstanding items. Periodically review/analyze and reconcile the GL accounts to ensure accurate cost is captured, require provision is maintained and ensure subsequent accrual is reversed for actual invoiced booked.
Book Accruals, provisions as per Company’s policy and procedure, and provide detail reconciliation of Accrued Income.
Reconcile and accurately post applicable financial transactions related to the general ledger.
Maintain fixed deposit schedule and pass monthly accrual entry on interest due.
Maintain Schedule for all Accrued expenses in respective Companies.
Provide advice and assistance on accounting related matters as needed.
Prepare and review all bank account reconciliation, pass bank entries, check all bank accounts and ensure end balance are tally with bank statements.
Deal with internal and external auditors and prepare audit schedules and requirements.
Review and analyze GL Expenses and reconcile and ensure that accruals are reversed for services entries passed.
Maintain accounting records for special accounts, organize activities and set priorities to meet agreed/provided timelines.
