Job Purpose
The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, industry standards, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities
HSE Policy & Strategy

Establish and monitor HSE objectives, targets, and performance indicators.
Risk Management & Compliance
Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety inspections.

Coordinate with regulatory bodies for inspections, reporting, and compliance audits.
Training & Awareness
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.

Incident Management
Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend preventive measures.

Qualifications & Experience
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certifications : NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory); IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant HSE management experience, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001), and industry best practices.
Proficiency in risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies.
Ability to implement safety management systems effectively.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Ensuring all the health and safety statutory and contractual requirements are identified;
• Monitoring the contractor and all sub-contractor's for HSE compliance to all regulatory and project requirements on a day-to-day basis;
• Reviewing and approving Contractor HSE plans (HSE Plan, Fire Safety Plans, Emergency Preparedness / Response Plans, etc);

You will have:
HSE Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety discipline
First Aid Certification
Minimum of 10 + years experience of construction health and safety management experience on large scale infrastructure projects.

Previous Middle Eastern experience is preferred but not essential.
