This is a key role within the Wood Doha office, delivering across study, FEED, EPC, and PMC scopes of work. Responsibilities

• Produce electrical deliverables independently with minimal guidance
• Understand and apply international codes and standards
• Design electrical systems, including SLDs, protection/control schemes
• Develop and review deliverables such as Design Basis, Specifications, Load Schedules, Protection Schemes, Calculations, Layouts, Data Sheets, and Enquiry Packages
• Familiarity with SKM, ETAP, or SPEL software
• Lead small to medium projects or serve as discipline technical authority when needed
• Supervise engineers and designers, provide guidance, and assist in managerial tasks
• Manage vendor quotations, technical evaluations, and order variations
• Prepare material take-offs and coordinate with vendors and clients
• Participate in project reviews, design audits, and workshops
• Understand plant design and equipment layout
• Conduct site surveys and develop reports for brownfield projects
• Manage technical and commercial risks, escalate significant issues

• Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering with 8-12 years of relevant experience
• Registered as a Grade A Engineer in Qatar; or a Chartered Engineer if not registered in Qatar
• Core electrical engineering skills, including design in Oil & Gas sector
• Experience across project phases, including greenfield and brownfield, onshore and offshore, Pre-FEED to EPC

Experience :

• Engineering Degree majoring in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience
• Enrolled on the Register of Engineers in the State of Qatar, Grade A Category as a mandatory requirement
• If not enrolled on the Register of Engineers in the State of Qatar, then candidates must be a Chartered Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Lead to contribute to the design and execution of offshore topside electrical systems . This role involves delivering high-quality engineering packages, ensuring compliance with international standards, and providing technical support throughout design, fabrication, and commissioning phases.

• Develop and review electrical design deliverables including load lists, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, protection studies, and equipment specifications.
