This role is responsible for overseeing and managing global third-party inspection activities, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with international standards, and timely delivery of inspection reports. The successful candidate will coordinate with clients, inspectors, and vendors while upholding TÜV SÜD’s commitment to quality and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule third-party inspections with global vendors and inspectors. Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, inspectors, and TÜV SÜD internal teams. Review and interpret inspection-related documents including ITPs, technical specifications, and procedures. Perform technical analysis and quality checks on inspection reports and NCRs prior to client submission. Ensure all documentation complies with client specifications, international codes (ASME, API, ISO, etc.), and TÜV SÜD protocols. Track inspection progress and maintain accurate documentation and control logs. Provide project-specific guidance and clarifications to inspectors as needed. Experience in sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or Power is preferred. Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an asset. - Supervise and - analyze the outcomes of - various online and offline inspections on fire-heaters, boilers, pipes and vessels in the Plant such as thermography, tube metal temperatures, thickness & corrosion surveys, dye penetration tests, magnetic particle tests, acoustic inspections and radiography interpretation, or simply by visual analysis to ensure integrity of equipment and assist in establishing ground for initial problem;
- Responsible for the NDE tests performed in the company through inspection section by self and contract manpower. Co-ordinate with outside parties for various inspection related activities especially on the NDE side;
- Provide assistance in other inspection related activities such as instrument procurement, technical bid evaluation of purchase requests/tenders, technical queries. Tackle inspection related problems during plant emergencies. Assist in failure analysis and corrosion study;
- Conduct quality assurance plans on implementation of recommendations made for rectification or improvement in new projects in order to ensure the quality of implementation meets company standards.
**About this role**
- Review of contractors inspection and quality related documents like-PQRs, WPSs, Welders performance qualification records, for the contractual conformations;
- Witness and review welders Performance qualification test in-house and at contractor’s place;
- Inspection of contractor’s fabrication, piping and welding activities;
- Review of contractors Project quality plan (PQP), inspection and test plans (ITP), final dossiers from contractors;
- Stage inspection of various fabrication/piping jobs in-house and at contractors end;
- Review and approve contractors’ workloads and production for each plant or facility with a view to determining the adequacy of manpower and materials, equipment and vehicle resources;
- Ensures all departmental files, information and records are maintained in an orderly, secure and safe environment to ensure availability and preservation for future reference purposes;
- Coordinate with the maintenance section for corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure service continuity, setting priorities to ensure minimum downtime and maximize system availability and service continuity;
- Prepare and disseminate inspection reports on a regular and ad hoc basis to ensure that all concerned personnel are aware of the status and performance of various equipment in the plant;
- Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon;
- Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of inspection activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers;
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of inspection activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude;
- The jobholder operates under the general guidance of the Senior Inspection Engineer on all routine issues related to inspection;
- The jobholder is free to plan and manage own areas of activity within policy/procedure constraints and the general guidance of the Senior Inspection Engineer;

The Munitions Inspection Element Supervisor position is for an individual who is identified as a highly experienced Supervisor responsible for the effective management of the assigned Element in accordance with established safety, technical, operational accountability standards and PWS contractual requirements. This position is the technical expert and advisor for the USAF Munitions Surveillance Program (MSP). Operates Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS). Also performs surveillance inspections of munitions to determine and identify serviceability, potential hazards and possible deterioration. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Principal Accountabilities
- Manages and is responsible for all assigned personnel and equipment in the Element, ensuring maximum utilization and conservation of resources.
- Manages the Element according to the applicable sections of AFMAN 21-200, DAFMAN 21-201and Munitions SOP.
- In the event of an emergency, takes necessary control and timely response actions.

- Identifies and advises the Munitions Accountability Section Chief of limiting factors that may impact performance goals.
- Advises Munitions Accountability Section Chief about personnel performance and all production actions, to include root causes and solutions to correct negative trends in the Element's performance.
- Monitors the skills, proficiency of assigned personnel as it impacts production efforts.
- Conducts sample surveillance audits of different processes in the Element.
- Interfaces and coordinates with the deployed Munitions Flight management as needed.
- Tracks training requirements and ensures personnel receive necessary training.
- Ensures personnel properly utilize CTKS, special tools needs, bench stock requirements, MMHE and support equipment commensurate with production efforts.
- Ensures that personnel accurately calculate and observe the net explosives limits of all storage and operating locations commensurate with production actions.
- Verifies that visual inspections on lightning protection and static ground systems are performed and documented in accordance with applicable governing publications.
- Ensures Munitions Control is informed of fire symbol, hazard marker, Risk Category or classified munitions changes that effect munitions storage and maintenance facilities.
- May be appointed as the Senior Munitions Inspector during the incumbent's absence.
- Works necessary hours, to include stand-by duties, to support mission requirements during peacetime and combat contingencies.

- Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
