ResponsibilitiesHere below your responsibilities:
- Ensure execution of quality control activities on purchased goods and availability of relevant necessary documentation, in accordance with purchase order requirements/conditions and project procedures /contract, optimizing and minimizing costs.
- Ensure timely update of Company Information Tools/Systems (either directly or by Inspectors) with the most reliable and up to date information on quality control and inspection activities (i.e. Inspection Report, Inspection Release Note).
- Coordinate efficiently and efficaciously internal Inspectors and/or Inspection Agencies in order to reach project goals by means of cost effective and result oriented solutions according to Company network synergies, best practices and procedures.
- Review Project Quality Control requirements and all the contractual documentation in order to detect discrepancies and prevent any misunderstanding aiming to a supply chain management approach
- Support MM on issuance of Project QC procedures
- Contribute to finalize PMC and IDS
- Support MM on PO Inspection Classification
- Ensure (directly or through Internal Inspectors) specialist support to engineering department to vendor quality control documents review (ITP and Test Procedures)
- For each Project PO, ensure all necessary and suitable documentation (Inspection Assignment Package) is available to designated inspector prior Inspection activities starts
- With the support of the MM, plan/organize the PIM (if any), agree dates and venues with Vendors, ensure the presence at the meeting of all Sub-Vendors (if any), Saipem (requisitioning unit and designated inspector), Client and any third party personnel whose attendance is required.
- Ensure the correct Project inspection notification work flow with Client and/or Third Parties in accordance with contractual requirements and ensure all necessary and suitable documentation is available prior to confirmation of inspection notification.
- Check all inspection Report received from Inspector (Internal and External) and ensure the correct distribution / filing of it to system (SAP)
- After positive final test result, verify that all necessary condition are satisfactory and ensure timely issuance of Inspection Release Note in SAP
- In case of not satisfactory inspection, ensure the correct management of Non-Conformity Reports and Punch Lists
- Ensure the vendor Manufactured Data Book review and approval and ensure timely issuance of Final Test Certificate in SAP
- Ensure performances evaluation of external (Agency) inspectors by using I-PERF
- Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical (preferable) or other Engineering degree

**Department**
ASSET INTEGRITY (REFINING)
**Primary purpose of job**
1. Inspection: Carry out On-stream, Planned and Unplanned Inspection and testing of
Refinery Stationary equipment, Storage tanks, Piping, PSVs, Pipelines, etc. as planned
/ instructed to ensure safe operation of the assets.
2. NDT: Carryout NDT inspection and testing of pressure containing equipment, piping,
PSVs, pipelines, with the use of non-destructive testing equipment and with reference
to approved procedures to ensure fitness of assets for continued services. Carryout
inspection/ NDT at vendors shop or at other location as instructed to ensure inspection
compliance.
3. Assist Plant Inspector & Sr. Plant Inspector to carryout inspection; draft inspection
reports detailing the works carried out, procedures followed, tests made and their results
after inspection and suitable recommendations to ensure the job completion within the
time frame.
4. Documentations and Records: Draw updates of inspection isometric with inspection
points as directed, for piping surveys to ensure proper tracking of inspection activities.
Maintain and update historical record and data on equipment, relief valves & pipe-work
to keep updated inspection records and status.
5. NDT Equipment: Ensure proper maintenance, periodic calibration and documentation
of assigned NDT equipment/instrument. Report any abnormality to supervisor.
6. Coordination: To raise permits, notifications, purchase orders, reservations etc. in the
QP computer systems to ensure smoothness of inspection activities. Interface with
operations, maintenance and warehouse personnel to ensure co
- ordination and
execution of allocated tasks.
7. Codes, Standard and Practices: Familiarize and stay updated with latest relevant codes,
standards and Practices.
8. Safety: Carry out all jobs as per QP Safety regulations and permits. Ensure all safety
trainings, certifications are up-to-date. Attend safety meetings. Report all unsafe acts
and incidents as per rules. Take the responsibility for all safety measures associated
with NDT, RT or other inspection activity is being performed by the contractor.
9. Administrative: Supervise and coordinate all activities of assigned contractor personnel
to ensure all jobs are carried out as per given plan and priority. Evaluate performance
of assigned contractor personnel and advise shortcomings to supervisor. Manage leave
schedules. Carry out activities and take up higher responsibility as assigned by
management. Attend all meetings as required.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
To develop and implement Inspection strategies, procedures and reports to ensure that fitness for service of offshore installation is known and degradation mechanisms are evaluated to define short, medium and long terms remedial/mitigation measures.
JOB DIMENSIONS
- Define the Risk Based Inspection program and ensure it is maintained fit for purpose for all pressurised equipment
- Complete subsequent RBI assessments post inspection execution and report back risk and schedule changes
- Underetake duties typical of Integity role such as fitness for service, anomaly management, defect analysis

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
Position is in a OPCO (JV) operating oil & gas facility with offshore/onshore (non producing) sites, based in Doha, Qatar.
The position is part of the permanent team and is on resident basis (5d a week).
Trip to offshore and visit to OEM/service company workshop are required on ah-hoc basis.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Controlled
- Degree qualified minimum BEng / BSc in a relevant Discipline
- Certification to RBI related API 580/581 preferred with a strong working knowledge of its principles
- Certification in API 510 (static equipment) & 570 (piping) also bennificial, else a strong working knowledge
- Minimum 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas sector in a similar role
- Knowledge of Asset Integrity & Reliability principles applicable to Oil & Gas Production facilities

Primary purpose of job
Manage the integrity of all topside pressure retaining equipment and structure on Halul, NFA
& NSS in line with asset integrity management systems and risk-based inspection plan.
Establish and implement inspection related responsibilities and subsequent recommendations
during the major overhaul and turnaround.
Detailed integrity technical review of pressure retaining equipment and specifications to
ensure safe and economical operational use by asset holder. Ensure conformity to appropriate
specifications, codes, and practices as to QatarEnergy and International Standards.
Recommend and implement proactive inspection solutions with intent of continuous
improvement of the division’s objectives.
Experience & Skills
A minimum of ten (10) years in inspection and testing of pressure containing plant within the
oil / gas / petrochemical industry
Five years to have been spent in a senior position within the offshore industry sector.
Must have knowledge of relevant codes, standards and specifications relating to pressure
containing plant, safety relief devices, inspection, and non-destructive testing. Should have a
sound knowledge of welding and experience of online inspection.
Experience and knowledge of integrity management software systems such as SAP, APMS,
RBMI, ACET, etc is preferred.
Education
BSc in Corrosion Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgy, post-graduate studies
in relevant field would be an advantage.

Senior Inspection/Structural Engineer
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Lead and execute asset integrity assessments and life extension studies for Structural elements.
• Ensure compliance with NOC and international standards (IEC, IEEE, API, ISO 55000).
• Define and implement proactive/reactive maintenance strategies.
• Support the development of integrity management systems and digital databases.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Provide technical input to key stakeholders
• Act as Technical Authority / Technical Administrator (TADM) on behalf of M&I ensuring that all Structural studies and projects are carried out in accordance with NOC requirements
• Ensure NOC rules, specifications and procedures are followed, maintaining closed communication with all relevant departments

• Identify critical structural assets for assessment
• Define maintenance strategies (proactive/reactive), Conduct RBI, FFS, and structural assessments.
• Define inspection scopes and review NDT results.
• Gather design, operational, and maintenance data
• Determine Designed End of Service Life (DEOSL) and verify actual End of Service Life (VEOSL)
• Perform the Asset Integrity Assessment
• Conduct data gap analysis and integrity risk reviews
• Set up integrity databases and digital dashboards
• Define execution timelines and contracting strategies
• Coordinate with 3rd-party engineering firms for detailed studies
• Execute and report on the Asset Integrity Assessment as well as the Life Extension studies
• Perform condition assessments, failure mode analysis, and life prediction modeling
• Review and validate 3rd-party reports and recommendations
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management
• Support CAPEX/OPEX planning based on findings
• Visit offshore sites on task or project basis to enhance collaboration and supervision to sites to ensure successful delivery of job scopes
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as directed by line manager
Profile
• Bachelor's in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience working in an oil & gas operator, with at least 5 years in asset integrity or reliability engineering
• Skilled and experienced in working in a multi-cultural and highly technical specialized environment
• API 510/570/653, NACE, ASNT Level II/III.
• Experience with CMMS (SAP PM), PowerBI dashboards, and integrity management tools.

You will have a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in industry electrical software and systems and advance skills in Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication and presentation skills in English both written and verbal in English.
