The role is to support the section within Logistics department in relation to inbound and outbound freight and customs clearance activities including assistance for liaison with Government authorities.
- Scrutiny of shipping documents to ensure compliance requirements stipulated by the General Authority of Customs
- Perform professional logistics work relating to the freight movements (Air, Sea and Land)
- Liaise with Freight forwarders, Shipping lines, Government authorities, Ports and stakeholders ensuring shipments are tracked and delivered as per stipulated timelines.

Job Purpose:
Identify new business opportunities through developing existing and new business accounts. Maintain an active new business prospect listing to approach and present to the company. Undertake new business sales calls to win new business. Develop financial supporting data and process data for potential and existing business wins. Responsible for maintaining existing customer database through regular sales visits.

What You’ll Do
- Qualify leads from sales and marketing campaigns as business opportunities
- Ability to review RFQs, contracts, and submit proposals
- Known track record for winning large business contracts
- Present our company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

- Report to the Head of Sales on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

Experience
- At least 5+ years of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
