The successful person will be responsible for managing all financial-related matters as part of the senior management team.

Key Responsibility Areas:
  1. Financial accounting & Treasury/Cash Management
  2. Working Capital Management
  3. Cash flow & cost management
  4. Due Diligence
  5. Fund Raising
  6. Preparation of various MIS reports & submissions of the same to the management
  7. Supervision of the day-to-day accounts of the company

  • Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies; experience in large-scale operating organizations (Operations, Projects, etc.).
  • Knowledge of quality systems, specifications, tools, and relevant industry standards.
  • Experience creating and implementing quality control plans, procedures, and documentation to meet established standards.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry regulations, and performance improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to document quality plans, Inspection and Tests Plans (ITPs), and other relevant documents clearly.

You’ll Do

A Chief Financial Officer is required by a Leading Manufacturing company based in Qatar. The candidate will oversee all finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax and corporate insurance functions at the company. This role directs all financial activities and advises and assists the CEO in meeting or exceeding the overall financial and strategic objectives of the Company. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Define standards, policies, procedures, measures, and organizational enhancements to meet company goals for finance.
  2. Prepare long range financial forecasts by working collaboratively with other management team members.
  3. Lead the effort in the planning and preparation of the annual budget.
  4. Regularly monitor and work closely with management in taking timely action to ensure that budgets and financial plans stay within approved levels.
  5. Insure the accounting of revenues and expenses are performed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner in conformity with GAAP.
  6. Manage the daily cash balance and invest excess funds to achieve the most lucrative rate consistent with Company policy.
  7. Prepare monthly financial reports and related analyses in accordance with GAAP on a timely basis.
  8. Plan for the future financing requirements and stability of the company by preparing and recommending loan applications for approved programs and efforts; regularly review debt portfolios for optimum rates.
  9. Assist in the preparation of business plans and financial forecasting for other ventures of or being considered by the Company.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in accounting or related finance discipline from a four-year university or equivalent experience is required.
  2. Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  3. 5+ years' experience in accounting and planning required
  4. 2 years experience in the similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  5. Experience as a Financial Controller is preferred.
