Job Purpose

The organisation is seeking an accomplished and strategic Manufacturing Director to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations for advanced defence products. This pivotal role requires a leader with a proven background in armaments production, exceptional supply chain expertise, and an in-depth understanding of the global defence landscape. The Manufacturing Director will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and security throughout the end-to-end manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Direct and manage the entire manufacturing lifecycle for defence products, including arms, ammunition, and precision systems (e.g. unmanned aerial vehicles/drones)
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end defence supply chain, from strategic sourcing of raw materials to final product delivery, ensuring resilience, security, and compliance with stringent international standards

• Compliance & Security: Ensure all manufacturing activities and supply chain logistics adhere to the highest levels of regulatory compliance, security protocols, and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) equivalent standards
• Budget & Strategy: Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, forecast operational needs, and contribute to the long-term strategic growth of the division
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, production managers, and technical staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; A Master’s degree is highly
• Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing leadership, with at least 10 years specifically within the defence industry
• Must-have expertise in manufacturing Arms, Ammunition, and/or Precision defence products (e.g. drones, guided systems, electronic warfare)
• Proven experience of managing a complex, end-to-end defence supply chain

Position Title : Quality Lead - Manufacturing (NFPS)

Working Schedule : 10 hrs/day, 6 days/week, 26 days/month

Work Location : Qatar, Onshore

Contract Term : 36 months

Reports to : Head of Quality (Assurance)

• Ensure the quality of products and processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle by developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production, investigating issues, and driving continuous improvement.
• Conduct inspections and tests during various stages of manufacturing to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to address quality issues and communicate quality standards.
• Ensure manufacturing processes and products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality through best practices and lean principles.
• Lead or participate in Quality Management System audits to ensure compliance with company requirements and applicable international codes and standards.
• Evaluate and manage the quality of materials and components sourced from suppliers.
• Participate in validating new manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure they consistently meet quality requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering.
• 8 years of experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas industry, including 1 year in a supervisory role or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies; experience in large-scale operating organizations (Operations, Projects, etc.).
• Knowledge of quality systems, specifications, tools, and relevant industry standards.
• Experience creating and implementing quality control plans, procedures, and documentation to meet established standards.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry regulations, and performance improvement methodologies.
• Ability to document quality plans, Inspection and Tests Plans (ITPs), and other relevant documents clearly.
• Knowledge of various testing and inspection methods (destructive and non-destructive) and interpretation of results.

The CFO is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Executive Management Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies, along with providing leadership and management for Corporate Administration and Human Resources.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Define standards, policies, procedures, measures, and organizational enhancements to meet company goals for finance.
2. Prepare long range financial forecasts by working collaboratively with other management team members.
3. Lead the effort in the planning and preparation of the annual budget.
4. Regularly monitor and work closely with management in taking timely action to ensure that budgets and financial plans stay within approved levels.

Qualifications

4. 2 years experience in the similar role within the manufacturing industry.
