Overview of the role:

Managing the rental business within Qatar, ensuring revenue growth and profitability from these regions are met. Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and enhancing the brand image to meet and exceed set standards. Must motivate guide and support all relevant personnel in the branch to achieving organizational objectives whilst maintaining good level of discipline and service standards. 6. Customer Service: Must ensure that one continuously exceeds customer expectations from all customer touch points within the business. All customer queries are handled in a professional and timely manner. Manage escalations and ensure resolution of customer complaints within defined SLAs.
7. Employee Development: Identify the talents within the team members and develop the right resources, optimum use of these resources and identify them for succession planning
8. Vendor & Partner Management - Oversee relationships with key external vendors (e.g., maintenance providers, fuel partners, insurance agencies).
9. Quality, Standards, Security, Policies and Procedures: Must ensure that there is proper control over cash, fleet and premises. Must ensure that business is conducted ethically adhering to standards, and strict compliance to policies and procedures.
10. Operational efficiencies: Enhance operational capabilities and deliver products and services better, faster and at lower cost

Required Skills to be successful

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

• Experience in sales and operational aspect of the automotive industry, preferably car rental or service related industry.

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Education: Bachelors (Masters preferred) in Engineering
• Professional Experience: Minimum 15 years' experience in pipeline engineering within the oil and gas industry, with strong involvement in offshore pipelines, flexibles, and cables engineering activities
• Robust understanding of all aspects of pipeline projects including technologies, design, procurement, project execution strategy, and offshore installation
• Significant experience in Early Engineering (Pre-FID), including preliminary, screening, conceptual, Pre-FEED, and cost optimization efforts
• Personal attributes: Excellent English skills (spoken & written), good communication, strong leadership, ability to work in multicultural, multi-dimensional, and cross-functional teams, adaptable to change
• Familiarity with the company's technical specifications is preferable

• Perform technical evaluations to shortlist options for conceptual phase, and further evaluate retained options for Pre-FEED
• Liaise with external technology providers to gather feedback on technical advantages, limitations, delivery timelines, feasibility, and costs, coordinating with the company's Contract & Procurement team
• Manage external engineering scopes, including identification, SOW preparation, technical discussions, supervision, reviews, and ensuring timely completion
• Provide technical inputs for pipeline cost estimation at each development phase
