We are working with our client based in Qatar to source a PROCESS ENGINEER . This is a residential contract based in Qatar.

Qualification:

• Degree in Engineering or Science with a major in Engineering
• 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including 4 years in a project management role

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform process engineering activities to support project execution, ensuring compliance with standards and high-quality delivery.
• Ensure activities adhere to regulatory requirements, project specifications, and approved variations.
• Resolve engineering issues and communicate with the Project Execution Team, escalating issues when necessary.
• Develop and update policies and procedures related to Project Management.
• Support external engineering teams and representatives to ensure design aligns with expectations.
• Evaluate complex tasks and provide recommendations; support multidisciplinary tasks.
• Monitor and guide FEED, EPC Contractors, and third-party services throughout project phases.

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join a major international engineering team in Qatar. This is a leadership-focused position where you will guide process engineering design and execution across complex oil and gas projects. The role requires both technical expertise and the ability to supervise and mentor other engineers while working independently on challenging assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the senior point of contact for process engineering deliverables on assigned projects.

• Guide and supervise engineers and designers in the execution of process work.

• Prepare and review process deliverables including FEED concepts, design basis documents, technical philosophies, specifications, calculations, and reports.

• Develop and review PFDs, heat and material balances, and process/utility P&IDs.

• Coordinate with project management teams, vendors, subcontractors, and partners.

• Participate in HAZOP studies and ensure designs comply with international standards.

• Review design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for quality and compliance.

• Prepare and approve procurement documents including requisitions, bid evaluations, vendor reviews, and recommendations.
