Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and maintain network security.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues reported by users.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings.
- Ensure the availability of network resources and services.
- Install and configure network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, CCTVs, and biometric machines.
- Monitor system performance and security logs.
- Train users on new hardware and software.
- Research and recommend new IT technologies and solutions.
- Work with vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure service type timing and quality levels are in line with agreed SLAs.
- Support and maintain domain controllers, DHCP, and DNS servers (experience is a plus).
- Support and maintain Office 365 users.
- Maintain awareness of network devices, cables, access points, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with Veeam backup system; experience with VMWare is preferred.
- Deal with IT suppliers/vendors to purchase/renew software licenses, hardware, and equipment.
- Keep an inventory update of all equipment, software, licenses, and users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working in IT.
- Proficient in Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
**Salary**: QAR1.00 per month
