Key Responsibilities
Outlook Support and Troubleshooting – Act as a subject matter expert for Outlook and Exchange Online. Investigate and resolve user issues related to Outlook connectivity, sync problems and login errors. Troubleshoot Outlook performance and slowness issues (e.g. OST file size, Add‑ins latency) and collaborate with Desktop Support to ensure consistent resolution of user‑reported email issues.
Mailbox Management – Support the Access Control team in daily mailbox operations (creation, permission assignment, de‑provisioning). Manage shared mailboxes, distribution lists and mailbox delegation. Perform mailbox migrations, policy changes and retention rule updates when required. Utilize PowerShell to execute mailbox‑related administrative tasks efficiently.
Technical Expertise and Documentation – Monitor O365 service health and respond proactively to incidents or degradation. Maintain and update documentation for common troubleshooting procedures. Knowledge of Exchange Online Archive, Exchange Backups, Customer Managed Keys, EntraID licensing. Provide input into automation and optimization opportunities within the mailbox and email workflow using PowerShell scripting. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend long‑term fixes or preventive actions.
