    • Upholding BH's product integrity by proactively identifying customer issues, investigating technical anomalies, providing technical assessments at both component as well as systems levels, and communicating BH technical solutions to customers. Specific responsibilities include.
    • Responding to internal and external customer requests for technical issue resolution, using technical product knowledge and analytical skills while adhering to sound engineering principles, standards, practices, procedures. Escalate issues as required, acting as the liaison between field and design engineering to drive specific technical resolution and to help engineering identify, drive corrective actions.
    • Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers to make customer technical issues / requirements understood and addressed in a timely manner.
    • Leading and program manage root cause analysis / investigation activities for product technical issues. Interface with Product Service, System and Design Engineering teams, providing technical leadership to personnel supporting project assigned to resolve customer technical issue.
    • Preparing technical presentations for BH Leaders and Customers ensuring the timely communication of significant issues or developments.
    • Travelling to customer locations as required
    • Supporting customer technical review meetings and present recommendations to champion BH's commitment technical solution
    • Supporting unplanned / forced outages to meet reliability / availability goals
    • Providing commercial teams with technical support for sales and services proposal activities.
    • Planning and providing engineering technical oversight to the Contractual Services and Field Services teams during planned outages to meet reliability and availability goals.
    • Partner with the Design Engineering teams and interface with external and internal suppliers to facilitate the logistical implementation of Fleet Program technical solutions.

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Aeronautical / Electrical / Electronics) OR equivalent
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in design engineering, operation, maintenance & troubleshooting
    • Main experience in Reciprocating compressor & pumps and Accessory systems
    • Strong working knowledge of Reciprocating compressor & pumps and Accessory systems.
    • Ready to travel on short notice 20 to 25% of the time.
    • Availability to work during weekends for emergency technical support.

    Job Description

    Lead Instrument and Control Engineer – for offshore projects, supporting from Design stage until commissioning and handover. Support a critical offshore oil & gas project focused on cybersecurity hardening of third-party control systems and full implementation of an alarm management system.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
    • Minimum 12+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Control, including offshore oil & gas projects.
    • Deep understanding of Honeywell DCS/ESD/FGS systems and third-party interfaces.
    • Familiarity with IEC 62443, IEC 62682, EEMUA 191, Shell DEPs, and QP/ICSS cybersecurity guidelines.
    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities:

    • Review and verify FEED documents; support and review detailed design development for instrumentation and control systems.
    • Review specifications, loop diagrams, I/O lists, C&E matrices, and instrumentation hook-up drawings.
    • Provide technical leadership for site surveys, system studies, and design finalization.
    • Coordinate with OEMs for system-specific modifications, cybersecurity upgrades, and integration into Honeywell ICS.
    • Review and validate OEM deliverables (System Architecture, FDS, BOMs).
    • Supervise FAT, I-FAT, SAT, and commissioning for all I&C systems.
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity hardening of third-party nodes.
    • Oversee integration of firewalls, domain controllers, WSUS patch management, SIEM, and AV systems into the I&C ecosystem.
    • Ensure alignment of alarm priorities, MADB preparation, and final reporting.
    • Provide inputs for Alarm Management Philosophy and ensure effective system integration.
    • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and handover phases.
    • Coordinate with QA/QC and construction teams to ensure work is completed per design and standards.
    • Witness SATs and contribute to close-out documentation and as-built drawings.
    Location & Travel

    Will require periodic offshore visits and site stays.
