We are hiring

Designation: Software Sales Engineer

Location: DFC, Qatar

Contract Duration: Permanent

Salary Range: Up to 9000 QAR

Working hours: 10 Hours a day

Working Days: 6 Days a week

Experience: 3 Years in Software sales in GCC (mandatory)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs to recommend suitable ERP solutions.
  2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, identifying potential markets and customer segments.
  3. Conduct assessments to tailor ERP solutions to client requirements.
  4. Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing how the ERP system addresses client challenges.
  5. Create proposals and respond to RFPs, aligning with client needs.
  6. Coordinate with implementation and technical teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions.
  7. Monitor sales metrics and report on progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
  8. Lead negotiations to close sales deals with favorable terms.
  9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with retail clients, understanding their sales and operational needs.
  10. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for the retail market.
  11. Conduct needs assessments and develop proposals demonstrating how ERP can drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
  12. Deliver engaging product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  13. Participate in lead generation and support the sales cycle to close deals.
  14. Maintain relationships post-implementation to ensure satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and gather feedback.

You Will : Own and grow a set of named accounts and generate new business opportunities in the assigned territory. Develop and execute account strategies to expand Base Chemical Insights' presence in the region. Collaborate with sales and product teams to position solutions effectively and deliver value-based messaging. Travel approximately 35% of the time across the Middle East, Africa, and Indian Subcontinent. You Have : Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including at least 8 years selling complex enterprise solutions in the Middle East, Africa, or Indian Subcontinent. Proven success closing large and complex deals in the base chemicals or related industries. Strong consultative and value-selling skills, with a track record of uncovering client needs and aligning them to tailored solutions. Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Business conversational fluency in English (verbal and written). An undergraduate degree in science or a related technical field is a plus.
