Responsibilities
Your Commitment
As a faculty member, you will report to the Head of the Department and be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating a broad range of courses within Chemical Engineering and related diploma, degree, and graduate programs. You will also evaluate student progress and manage the learning environment resources. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with industry and other educational institutions, participate in industry advisory committees, and coordinate, manage, and supervise final year/capstone projects within the specified program area.
You will keep course portfolio documents required for program review and accreditation processes and engage in instructional and new program development. The College encourages applications from research-active faculty members who will also enhance applied research and innovation.

- A PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, specifically Process Safety, Process Control, Plant Operation, Plant Trouble Shooting and Transport Phenomenon, f rom an internationally recognized and accredited institution.
- A track record of academic excellence from internationally recognized and accredited institutions.
- A minimum of five (5) years of academic experience after the PhD.
- A minimum of three (3) years of industrial experience related to the field of study.
- Competency in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Apply various teaching approaches in the classroom and for practice experiences, including the laboratory, simulation, and practicums.
- Ability to use a variety of educational technology and platforms.

Sustaining Engineering is a business critical team that continuously improves various open source software by resolving software defects reported by customers. Software stack includes everything from the kernel all the way up to the user space applications and IaaS platforms. Our customers build large-scale mission critical infrastructure and application solutions on Ubuntu and open source from Canonical. What we are looking for in you
Professional software delivery experience using C, C++, Go, Python, or similar You are knowledgeable and passionate about software development Leadership experience displaying ability to organise and prioritise complex problem resolution and bug fixes Experience with version control systems such as git Experience with debugging tools such as gdb, crash or other Demonstrated strong commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality Excellent communication skills in the English language, both verbal and written Experience with Linux, with a preference towards Ubuntu Experience with Open Source and Open Source Business Models People management experience in a support organisation is a strong plus

Overview
An Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel to ensure a safe, well‑maintained, and efficient environment for guests and team members. This includes conducting daily inspections, supervising repairs, and coordinating renovation and maintenance projects.
What will I be doing?As an Engineering Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all engineering and maintenance activities within the hotel.
- Conducting daily inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Supervising and assisting in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ensuring all hotel fixtures, fittings, and equipment are maintained in a safe and operational condition.
- Leading and supporting the engineering team to deliver high‑quality service and timely maintenance.
- Coordinating and monitoring renovation and upgrade projects, including defining scope, budgeting, and supervising contractors.
- Developing and implementing emergency response procedures and safety protocols.
- Managing energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring team members are trained accordingly.
- Building strong working relationships with internal departments and external service providers.
- Handling special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
An Engineering Supervisor serving Hilton brands is expected to lead by example, ensuring the hotel’s engineering operations run smoothly and efficiently. To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate the following attributes:
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical operations

- First Aid certification
- Vocational or technical training in engineering, facilities management, or a related field
