Responsibilities
Your Commitment
As a faculty member, you will report to the Head of the Department and be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating a broad range of courses within Chemical Engineering and related diploma, degree, and graduate programs. You will also evaluate student progress and manage the learning environment resources. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with industry and other educational institutions, participate in industry advisory committees, and coordinate, manage, and supervise final year/capstone projects within the specified program area.
You will keep course portfolio documents required for program review and accreditation processes and engage in instructional and new program development. The College encourages applications from research-active faculty members who will also enhance applied research and innovation.

For Associate Professor and Assistant Professor
- A PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, specifically Process Safety, Process Control, Plant Operation, Plant Trouble Shooting and Transport Phenomenon, f rom an internationally recognized and accredited institution.
- A track record of academic excellence from internationally recognized and accredited institutions.
- A minimum of five (5) years of academic experience after the PhD.
- A minimum of three (3) years of industrial experience related to the field of study.
- Competency in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Apply various teaching approaches in the classroom and for practice experiences, including the laboratory, simulation, and practicums.
- Ability to use a variety of educational technology and platforms.

Design and checking of single lines, schematics and wiring diagrams, area classification, grounding, panel/cable schedules, equipment layout, cable layout, tray layout, lighting and installation details without supervision. Review and coordinate electrical 3D model with the other disciplines. Review and coordinate electrical 2D AutoCAD/ Micro-station drawings. Supervise and coordinate the activity of a small group of drafters, junior/intermediate designers and/or junior/intermediate engineers. Review vendor drawings. Visit construction/plant sites and fabrication shops during design phase on as required basis. Provide construction support and perform pre-commissioning and start-up activities for electrical systems when required

Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering
to join our dynamic academic team. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and research in areas such as structural engineering, construction materials, geotechnics, and sustainable infrastructure. The role also includes supervising student projects, mentoring junior faculty, and engaging with industry and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching in core Civil Engineering subjects
Design and update course materials aligned with academic standards and industry trends
Supervise final-year projects and mentor students in research and practical applications
Engage in scholarly research and contribute to publications in relevant fields
Participate in curriculum development, academic assessment, and quality assurance
Support departmental and institutional activities, including accreditation processes
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and outreach programs
Requirements
Qualifications, Requirements and Experience:
A
PhD in Civil Engineering
from a recognized institution
Minimum of
4 - 5 years of teaching and/or professional experience
in Civil Engineering
Strong background in one or more of the following: structural analysis and design, construction management, geotechnical engineering, or transportation engineering
Demonstrated research output and publications in peer-reviewed journals
Familiarity with
ABET or international accreditation standards
is highly desirable
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Industry experience and active professional certification (e.g., PE, PMP) are a plus
