You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive requirements engineering, and help ensure our agile delivery is efficient, customer-centric and value driven.

• Requirements Management: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with commercial, IT, and external partners to understand needs and objectives and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Problem Analysis: Identify root causes of business problems and facilitate effective solutions using techniques such as RCA and PFC.
• Process Analysis: Analyze and optimize business processes (as-is and to-be) using techniques such as BPMN and UML modeling.
• Wireframing and User Experience: Collaborate with UX and development teams to define mock-ups and deliver high quality UI/UX designs.
• Agile Delivery: Work as a core member of an Agile delivery pod, participating in agile ceremonies (PI planning, stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and OKRs).
• Backlog Support: Refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals and commercial strategy.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA and development teams to define acceptance criteria, support UAT, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Change Enablement: Support change management, business roll-out, and provide post go-live support and training.

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, Commerce, or relevant major with at least 5+ years of job-related experience OR High School/Vocational/Diploma with at least 6+ years of job-related experience.
• Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and ability to work in multicultural teams
• Hands-on experience with agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar frameworks).
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with requirements analysis, process modeling (UML/BPMN), and backlog management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Draw.io, Visio etc.).

• Business Analysis certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, IREB, BCS etc)
• Agile certifications (CSPO, CSM, SAFe Practitioner, CPOA, etc.).

Overview

Job Purpose : The Senior Financial Analyst leads continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency in financial processes, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analyzing annual budgets, and supporting external and internal financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The position collaborates with executive management to streamline accounting processes, provide insights, and respond to management inquiries regarding financial performance.

• Prepare guidelines and instructions for the period-end closing cycle.
• Manage the period-end closing cycle effectively and timely, including: Expenses, Accounts Payable, and other creditors; Revenues, Accounts Receivable, and other debtors.
• Ensure timely preparation of periodic financial statements for management.
• Perform financial statement analysis to build a clear understanding of financial results.
• Prepare annual budgets with analysis and explanations, in coordination with related departments.
• Develop financial presentations and slides for board meetings, and present annual budgets to the board.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for transactions related to: Fixed Assets , Investment Properties , Financial Instruments .
• Coordinate with external auditors by providing audit requirements, reconciliations, and accurate schedules.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and verified in a timely manner to support decision-making and financial stability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles (IFRS).

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Strategy Analyst to support the development and execution of strategic initiatives within a leading company in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in strategy, business analysis, or planning preferably in the financial or insurance sectors.

The Strategy Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic planning processes, market research, data analysis, and the preparation of reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.

• Assist in formulating and reviewing strategic plans, KPIs, and performance dashboards
• Conduct market research and data analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Develop reports, insights, and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior leadership

Overview

Develop & deploy market fundamentals and pricing models to expand QET’s global market view and add specific insight into the European & global gas markets. Communicate the results of said models to sharpen QET’s competitive trading edge, particularly to manage and monetise exposure to European gas indices and associated correlated instruments (such as JKM).

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience, with strong European gas skew preferred. Expert knowledge of the European and global gas markets as a core skill.
• Extensive experience of Gas/LNG trading and a working understanding of related markets (Power, Oil, Coal, Shipping) is a prerequisite of the role, with a strong European Gas skew highly favoured. The role requires a mix of market knowledge, delivery focus, and strong technical skills, likely VBA/Python/SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrable experience building and maintaining complex numerical models to produce supply and demand balances and generate trading insights.
• Comfort applying coding skills to streamline, simplify and expand market models, with advanced knowledge of VBA/Python/SQL highly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of the gamut of regional and global data sources and data types, including derived data from vendors (e.g. Platts, Bloomberg, Point Carbon, Statlink, Kpler, Commodities Essentials, Speedwell, MeteoGroup, and similar) as well as directly collected data and reports from TSOs, pipeline operators, customs agencies, and so on.
• Highly analytical and evidence-based approach to problem solving.
• Ability to distil complex variables into specific trade recommendations, marshalling facts and evidence to support the proposed strategy. Comfortable defending ideas against robust, constructive challenge.
• Flexible and enthusiastic in approach and ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced trading environment. Able to balance the need for urgent tactical solutions against longer-term innovation and business improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to network and build beneficial links to develop analytics excellence for QET, including liaising with IT, Risk & Finance to share relevant insight and coordinate improvement projects.
• Willingness to leverage a solid external network to gain market insights, competitor intelligence, and to import innovative ideas and technologies from the wider market.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office essential, with experience of Refinitiv/Bloomberg, ICE, Trayport, and/or similar applications preferred. Exposure to one or multiple ETRM systems would be a value add for the role.

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a highly numerate subject (mathematics/physics/computer science/chemistry/engineering/etc).

The incumbent will assist in the development and deployment of management reports, dashboards and business intelligence solutions to fulfill the business need / to enhance the decision making capabilities of the Products and Segments function of the Retail Banking division. The incumbent will gather and analyze information / data, through analysis, graphs, data modeling, presentations and dashboards using various BI tools pertaining to retail accounts portfolio, within the frame work of the policies and procedures set by the Bank / regulatory guidelines.
