The Ideal Candidate :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on solar / photovoltaic systems

8-10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years working with large-scale (100MW+) solar power plants

Extensive knowledge of PV system design, operation, and maintenance

Strong understanding of grid integration and coordination with utility providers

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills

Job Purpose

Reporting and Relationships

  • Reports to: Head of Section
  • Direct reports: 5–10

  • Supervise operational shift activities in designated assets within onshore LNG, Sales Gas, Helium Plants, Refineries, Plant Utilities, CSP, and Terminal Facilities
  • Challenges include initiating emergency response actions, maintaining extensive operational knowledge across processing units, balancing safety, people development, and procedure compliance, and motivating the shift team to meet high safety and reliability standards

Key Accountabilities

  1. Plan, allocate, and supervise subordinate staff to meet operational targets
  2. Participate in developing and implementing production procedures, reviewing for potential enhancements
  3. Develop manpower plans and monitor progress, ensuring safety compliance and conducting WM site audits
  4. Support maintenance planning to ensure optimal equipment operation and minimal downtime

  6. Inspect and control work execution in compliance with procedures, specifications, safety, and environmental standards

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Manage and process credit card payments for handling customer shipments.
  • Ensure all payments have the required approvals and are backed by customer credit facilities when applicable.
  • Make timely payments to government authorities and vendors, ensuring no disruption to operations.
  • Save and organize payment documents in the correct folders and share them with the back office for record-keeping.
  • Ensure the back office updates the provision in shipment files and actualizes invoices after payments are made.
  • Verify that accounting entries appear correctly in the vendor ledger and transfer them to the respective credit card ledger.
  • Maintain and update two key trackers: (1) a request tracker for all received payment requests, (2) a consolidated credit card statement tracker (covering multiple cards).
  • Perform daily reconciliation between the request tracker and credit card statements to confirm all transactions match.
  • Ensure month-end reconciliation of all credit card ledgers with statements; promptly report any missing transactions to brokers or relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor credit card balances, initiate top-ups when required, and ensure cards are settled within due dates.
  • Follow up with brokers when certain payments are directly processed by them using the cards.
  • Provide regular reports on payment status, reconciliations, and outstanding issues.
  • Take full accountability for credit card management, ensuring compliance with internal controls and timelines.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in operations, payments, or financial reconciliation (experience with credit card payments is a plus).
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to manage multiple trackers with accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with back office, vendors, and brokers.
  • High level of integrity and accountability in handling financial transactions.

    • Engage in HAZOP, HAZID, PRs, and JRA activities as required.

    • Contribute to operability and maintainability studies and support key operational processes.

    • Assist in the development of main operating procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose, aligned with current field practices, and delivered on time.

    • Identify training needs and develop training programs for field operations stakeholders related to new facilities.

    • Represent Field Operations at Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for key/critical equipment.

    • Ensure project design bases align with existing field bottlenecks or identified debottlenecking actions.

    • Supervise site operations teams during installation, commissioning, and start-up activities.

    • Deputize for the Field Operations Lead as needed.

    • Prepare comprehensive feedback and lessons learned reports at the conclusion of each project.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

  • Operations experience with field exposure and prior roles in production operations and projects (minimum 2 to 5 years).

  • Familiarity with production, process, and flow assurance engineering.

  • Knowledge of industry standards, management systems, and relevant codes preferred.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Computer literate with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in complex, multicultural project environments.

  • Strong analytical skills.
