They are currently looking for a Quality Assurance & Control Engineer to be based in Qatar.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) adhering to ISO 9001 and / or ISO 50001 standards.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential quality and safety issues.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to QMS procedures policies and reports.

Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality and sustainability practices.

Collaborate with various departments (e.g. engineering production) to ensure quality standards are integrated into all aspects of operations.

Train and mentor staff on QMS procedures and best practices.

Remain current with relevant quality and safety regulations and industry standards.

Possess the physical fitness and ability to safely enter and work in confined spaces adhering to all necessary protocols.

Qualification & Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a reputable university in North America Western Europe or Australia.

Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing and maintaining QMS aligned with ISO 9001 and / or ISO 50001 standards.

Strong understanding of quality management principles methodologies and best practices.

Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working in the GCC region is highly preferred.

Fitness for and willingness to work in confined spaces adhering to all safety protocols.
