• Documenting and reporting observations against Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) so that preventive measures can be in place.
• Prepare reports and documentation on identified errors during shop floor audits and its rectification and provide the finding to respective departments.
• Verify production documents (i.e. Critical Control Point (CCP) documents) and confirm its accuracy to ensure real data is captured legibly and to refer in case of deviation for corrective action.
• Assist in monitoring the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practice (GHP) processes by supporting the team in shop floor inspections and audits.
• Assist in monitoring waste management and waste segregation to achieve 100% compliance with environmental standards.
• Monitor product specifications and track possible failure areas for continuous improvement.
• Assist in quality testing and product sampling based on sampling plan and testing protocol.
• Interfacing with line leaders (Chef De Partie) and Quality Assurance team to monitor the section and report irregularities.
• Responsible for coordinating the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) implementation and monitoring the success of the implemented standard.
• Assisting machine operators to carry out their quality control functions to achieve 100% productivity. Periodical checking if the specialist equipment is correctly calibrated and functioning properly based on SOP to prevent deviations.
• Collect retention samples and manage inventory of samples (catering food) as a verification reference in case of customer complaint.
• Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by the Head of the Department.

High School Qualification with minimum 1 year of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with no prior job-related work experience.

• Good English communication (spoken and written).
• Knowledge and adherence to HACCP Policy and Standard Quality Procedures of QACC.
• Knowledge in sample inventory management.
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office.

Overview

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible to the Quality Assurance Team Leader for assurance of the appropriate regulatory, statutory and business requirements.

The role holder may be required to carry out additional or alternative tasks from time to time, subject to holding the appropriate qualifications.

The post will be established in Qatar at a suitable time to support establishing and managing an Audit Schedule compliant to the Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory Framework.

• Assuring compliance with appropriate regulations standards and associated procedures.
• Assisting in the development and continuous maintenance of the integrated audit programme and be responsible for conducting Audits in line with the integrated audit programme.
• Responsibility for compiling audit reports, highlighting any issues for escalation, including the status of non-conformities, to promote timely closure.
• Providing support in implementing embedded Assurance management across all aspects of the AM&S business – support managers in understanding the practical applications of regulated material, through effective audit and identification of conformance and non-conformance.
• Promoting a positive assurance culture.
• Providing references to regulations and policies for assistance in resolving problems.
• Conducting audits in line with the integrated audit programme.
• Compiling audit reports, highlighting any issues for escalation, including the status of non-conformities, to promote timely closure.
• Whilst the role holder has no leadership responsibility, they may be required to train new team members.
• Effective and credible communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good influencer in persuading the business to address identified non-conformances, carry out the improvement or mitigation actions identified.
• Diplomatic in identifying mitigation actions within the Customer community.

• Recognised as an assurance/lead auditor qualification, complimented with vocational experience acceptable to the approving competent authority.
• Understanding of all appropriate regulatory requirements, including their interaction and application.
• Ability to maintain independence from areas to be audited.
• Ability to support a continuous improvement culture underpinned by appropriate management reporting systems and escalation processes.

Job Description

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, food and beverage outlets, and back-of-house operations to ensure quality and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Evaluate guest service standards and identify areas for improvement by reviewing guest feedback, complaints, and service delivery processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and policies in line with brand and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with various departments (housekeeping, front office, food & beverage, maintenance) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Provide training and guidance to hotel staff on quality assurance practices, customer service, and operational standards.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on audit findings, including corrective action plans and follow-up activities.
• Coordinate with external agencies and regulatory bodies for inspections and certifications.
• Keep updated with industry best practices and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Educational Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, HACCP) are a plus.

Experience :

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the hospitality or hotel sector.
• Experience with hotel operations, guest service standards, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
