**Primary purpose of job**
a) Provide strategic direction and tactical management for QP Corporate Security Program including the Policies,

Procedures and Management Systems.

b) Accountable for managing QP Corporate Security strategies and program execution to reduce the security risks for

Commercial and Industrial assets both Domestic and International.

c) Design and maintain QP enterprise security model that drives effective partnerships and project delivery throughout QP,

Joint Venture operations, Governmental Agencies in Qatar and overseas.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Exposure and good understanding of cyber security.
- At least 20 years working experience with 10 years in Operational Security; experience in a large corporation in the oil and

gas sector preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably Arabic.
- Strong leadership, management, decision making, networking and influencing skills.
- Ability to deal with senior management inside QatarEnergy and external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the geopolitical security risks.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Security or relevant discipline from an internationally recognized university;
professional qualifications in Security highly desirable.

KEY RESULTS AREAS / DELIVERABLES & KEY ACTIVITIES INFORMATION SECURITY GOVERNANCE Establish and maintain Almana Exchange’s Information Security framework, aligned with QCB instructions and industry best practices. Define and regularly update information security policies, procedures, and standards to protect company assets. Communicate the Information Security strategy and policies to staff across departments to ensure organization-wide awareness and adherence. Ensure compliance with QCB Technology Risk requirements and contribute to external and internal audit engagements. Serve as the focal point for all regulatory requirements related to information security. Ensure security-related roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated throughout the organization. RISK MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE OVERSIGHT Identify, assess, and monitor technology risks across Almana Exchange’s infrastructure and services. Implement a formal Information Security Risk Management framework that includes risk classification, likelihood and impact analysis, risk ownership, and treatment planning. Ensure a regular schedule for risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis is in place. Oversee the incident reporting and escalation process and ensure proper documentation and resolution. Report the security posture and key risks periodically to senior management and QCB as required. Follow up on risk remediation and control gaps identified during assessments or audits ASSET CLASSIFICATION & PROTECTION Establish a data classification scheme and ensure critical assets are labeled and handled accordingly. Coordinate the maintenance of an enterprise-wide asset registry covering data, systems, and applications. Define security control requirements based on asset classification, including data encryption, segregation, and access control. Ensure that information assets are adequately protected using approved controls and frameworks. Collaborate with IT to validate the effective implementation of these controls. Promote best practices for data handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with regulatory mandates. AWARENESS, TRAINING & STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION Develop and lead periodic Information Security awareness programs for staff, including phishing simulations and compliance refreshers. Provide advisory support to departments on new projects, ensuring security is embedded by design. Serve as the key liaison for information security matters between Almana Exchange and third parties (vendors, service providers, and regulators). Deliver presentations to leadership and contribute to board-level security updates as needed. Lead the internal communication of any security events, policy updates, or new regulatory requirements. Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning initiatives from a security standpoint. MONITORING, REPORTING & SECURITY METRICS Oversee continuous monitoring of the organization’s cybersecurity environment, including threat intelligence and control effectiveness. Ensure between Information Security reporting and QCB's regulatory templates and audit alignment expectations. Collect, analyze, and report on security Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Coordinate with IT security operations to gather insights and validate threat detection and response capabilities. Generate monthly and quarterly management reports on Information Security status, risks, and ongoing initiatives. Monitor compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, or equivalent standards. Skills EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent mandatory. EXPERIENCE Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Information Security, Risk, or Governance. Prior experience working in a regulated financial institution or exchange house is highly preferred. **About Role**

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Must be able to lead a 24x7 team of SOC Analysts and Senior Analysts. Also you must be able to participate in rotation on call schedule.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with Incident Response and Cyber Security Testing teams. Having the ability to work outside of normal working hours as required due to critical incidents or emergency calls, will be essential to success in this role
- Developing Sentinel analytics rules, incidents, playbooks, notebooks, workbooks, threat hunting and developing KQL queries for data normalization and parsing capabilities within Log Analytics' data ingestion pipeline.
- Proactively hunting threats in the environment, identifying new risk, and developing methods to proactively address threats
- Implementation of the technical controls and configurations on the security solutions and appliances in lines with the Security Incident Response procedures laid down by the Manager Cyber Security.
- Develop Cyber Security Incident Response Plan, Procedures, tactical incident response procedures and other related documentation. Also continuously update the cyber security incident response plan and procedures.
- Assist the Senior Manager and Manager Cyber Security in the analysis of security breaches to identify the root cause and also to implement preventive measures.
- Perform log event analysis by correlating data from various log sources for threat detection.
- Provide support to Incident Response activities for collecting evidences and in monitoring of mitigation steps.

**Qualifications**:
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor Degree holder with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Cyber Security Operations
- 2+ years of experience working with Azure Sentinel and Azure Log Analytics
- Highly proficient with Azure Sentinel and Azure Log Analytics; focusing primarily on SIEM (security information and event manager) and SOAR (security orchestration automated response) use case development and data collection utilizing the Azure Sentinel and Azure Log Analytics toolsets.
- Strong understanding of Cloud Security and Networking Concepts and practices. Possess expert knowledge of a Security Operations Centre (SOC) - Operations
- Expert knowledge or possessing any of the MS Certifications AZ-900 and SC-200 / AZ-500 is preferable.
- Ability to define various SIEM use cases based on IT environment for better detection of anomalies
- Expert knowledge on SIEM tools MS Azure Sentinel for quick adaptation to the QR SOC monitoring activities.
- Expert knowledge on Defender for Endpoint and Servers for effective incident response actions.

Purpose :

The Risk Management Specialist is responsible for implementing the organization’s risk management framework, ensuring the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks that may impact strategic and operational objectives. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices while embedding risk awareness within the organization. Job Summary :

The Risk Management Specialist is responsible for conducting risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies, developing risk reports, and ensuring compliance with ISO 31000. This role plays a key part in embedding a proactive risk management culture and enhancing resilience by integrating risk frameworks into business operations. Main Responsibilities & Tasks Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for enterprise, operational, and project-based risks, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation. Obtain, assess, and continuously monitor risk treatment plans, ensuring effectiveness and timely execution. Assist the Executive Director (ED) in engaging with senior leadership to align risk management strategies with organizational objectives. Ensure full alignment with ISO 31000, corporate governance frameworks, and regulatory standards. Develop and maintain the risk management framework in accordance with organizational governance policies and external regulatory bodies. Develop risk management training materials and conduct workshops to enhance awareness across the organization. Foster a risk-aware culture by embedding risk considerations into daily operations and decision-making. Analyze past incidents, near misses, and emerging risks to enhance the organization’s risk management framework. Implement lessons learned and update risk controls to improve resilience and prevent recurrence. Assess fraud risks, financial exposures, and oversee the implementation of internal controls to mitigate financial and reputational losses. Support in assessing fraud prevention frameworks, including detection and reporting mechanisms. Utilize risk analytics tools to enhance predictive capabilities and support data-driven decision-making. Develop risk indicators (KRIs) and risk dashboards for real-time monitoring and reporting. Support the ED in Board, BAC, and BEC risk reporting, ensuring visibility on strategic risks impacting governance. Assist in defining, maintaining, and periodically reviewing risk appetite statements. Develop and maintain risk dashboards, reports, and key insights for senior leadership and governance committees. Ensure seamless integration of risk management with Operational Management, Internal Audit, and Board Committees for effective oversight. The incumbent shall perform any additional related duties assigned by the respective line manager to meet operational requirements. The incumbent shall ensure the highest standards are followed to safeguard the sensitive and confidential data of the organization. Minimum Required Qualifications, Certificates & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, IT, or a related field. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in risk management or internal audit, either with Big 4 consulting firms or equivalent experience of 7-8 years in a similar role. Any relevant certification or training such as : Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

  • Responsible for providing details of developments giving rise to a material risk that serious regulatory breaches or breaches of risk tolerances may occur and raising any such breaches.
  • Support the Country to meet its commitment of being "Here for Good" by building and maintaining a sustainable framework that places Compliance, Conduct and Financial Crime Compliance best practice standards, at the forefront of the Group's /Country’s agenda.
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of SCB QATAR’s Compliance, Financial Crime & Conduct Risk Frameworks.
  • Support and challenge the businesses and supporting functions to exhibit appropriate conduct, comply with regulatory, conduct, financial crime and compliance requirements and strive to achieve fair outcome for clients.
  • Maintain constructive and effective stakeholder relationships with the relevant business and supporting functions
  • Support the management of regulatory relationships with all the Country financial regulators, whose rules SCB QATAR is subject to.
