About Mesaieed International School
We are a QatarEnergy owned international school that follows the National Curriculum for England. The school currently has 1090 pupils from the ages of 3-19. Our students all reside in Mesaieed and are the children of QatarEnergy and associate companies' employees.

Sports
We are fully involved in the Qatar Private Primary (QPPSSA) and Secondary Schools Sports Associations (QUESS), participating in various sporting events including football, netball, basketball, swimming, athletics and cricket throughout the year, both in Mesaieed and in various schools in Al Wakrah and Doha. Our students love these events and are regularly commended for their politeness, attitude and good sportsmanship. We have some very talented sportsmen and sportswomen, with students often selected to participate in National and International level competitions.
Trips and Visits
The curriculum at MIS is supported by a wide range of stimulating educational experiences. During the course of the year there are opportunities for the children to be involved in excursions to a variety of places in the local area. These trips are generally linked to class work and supporting requirements for external examinations.
Extra-Curricular Activities
After-school activities provide enriching opportunities to learn something new, extend particular skills beyond the levels gained through the normal school curriculum, and to make new friends with similar interests. ECAs are held after school, over three days, in secondary and once a week in primary. All students are given an opportunity to spend some time engaged in a club, society or activity designed to broaden their experience and improve their knowledge.

The Clinical Teaching Assistant (TA) collaborates closely with the Clerkship Director, supporting the execution, monitoring, and assessment of Clinical clerkships. Furthermore, post-clerkship, the TA is anticipated to facilitate teaching during the pre-clerkship phase.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and participate in clinical assessments and exams, including OSCEs, MCQs, case presentations, and discussions.
- Engage in teaching fundamental clinical skills during the pre-clerkship phase – this includes session preparation, delivery, and evaluation.
- Act as a liaison between teaching hospitals and the College of Medicine (CMED), aiding academic staff and clinicians in their educational duties.
- Facilitate small and large group teaching, like lectures, clinical rounds, PBL sessions etc.
- Assist in organizing students' clinical rotations during clerkship training.
- Support and participate in clinical CME/CPD activities, including faculty development.
- Maintain records related to student attendance and both formative and summative assessments.
- Lead group discussions, catering to small groups or entire classes.
- Compile and present student progress reports at the end of each semester using E-value.
- Monitor and guide student learning at the clinical teaching sites.
- Manage the distribution and collection of course evaluation questionnaires for each clerkship rotation.
Qualifications Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine & Surgery (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years' experience in clinical practice or a similar educational environment.
- Postgraduate training (specialization/ Board/Masters/Diploma) is desirable.
Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and take the initiative in problem-solving.
- Proficiency in computer applications, with an openness to continuous learning.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons in Primary.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and ensure progress.
- Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and pupil supervision.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils.
Requirements
- Must be a Qatari resident with a valid Residence Permit (RP).
- Bachelor of Education or a recognised SEN qualification.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting in Qatar
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
