Provide, independent, objective, risk based and highly technical IT assurance and consultancy services to AZF Corporate Office (CO), its Member Organizations (MOs) and AZF's Associated Entities in relation to the effectiveness, adequacy, reliability and economy of IT controls, risk management and governance frameworks/processes. The role reports IT related significant findings, constructive recommendations and supportive conclusions to AZF Corporate Office, its MOs and AZF's Associated Entities.
Key Core Activities- Planning and performing independent, objective, risk based and technically advanced IT/IS related audit assignments in accordance with formal IT/IS annual plan, Global Technology Audit Guide as well as IT/IS audit policies and procedure notes
- Additionally, planning and performing IT/IS audit assignments upon the request of AZF CEO, MOs Senior Management, Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) and/ or LIA as required
- Assessing the likelihood and impact of IT/IS risks, as well as evaluating, effectiveness, adequacy, reliability and economy of IT/IS controls in order to make constructive, supportive and practical recommendations and conclusions for further improvement
- Providing IT/IS technical advice and expertise to AZF CO and Its MOs in order to improve existing IT practices and approaches across AZF and MOs
- Assist CIA/LIA in establishing IT/IS audit manual, including IT/IS audit policies and procedure notes
- Coordinate with AZF Risk Manager through CIA/LIA in the process of establishing AZF and MOs IT/IS risk registers
- Reporting and communicate IT/IS significant findings, constructive recommendations and supportive conclusions to the AZF Higher Management / CO as well as to MOs Senior Management as appropriate through CIA/LIA
- Assisting CIA/LIA in preparation of risk based annual IT/IS audit plan and ensuring that the plan is developed to target IT/IS medium and high risks, in addition to preparing IT risk based audit programmes
- Documenting IT/IS audit works and maintaining a proper audit working files, both in hard copies and electronic forms Also, ensuring IT/IS audit working papers are complete, organized and accurate
