Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a
**Sampler / Sampling Technician** to join our rapidly expanding Chemistry team in Qatar
In this role, you will be responsible for driving to various project sites for sample collection, carrying out basic tests on-site, delivering samples to the main Chemistry laboratory and for preparing the samples for further testing
This role will be based in Doha, Qatar
**Responsibilities**:
- Collect and prepare material specimens (Chemistry / Microbiology) for testing
- Understand the customer requirements and perform basic tests as directed by customer specifications
- Understand what must be completed each work day and takes the initiative to complete those tasks properly and timely, with mínimal supervision
- Operate under the supervision of a more senior test technician and/or a Department Manager
- Gather and record test data
- Construct and maintain various test fixtures and other laboratory equipment
Skills / Qualifications:
- Chemistry / Material Science educational back ground
- Basic knowledge in chemistry & microbiology sample collection process
- Good communication skills in Eglish
- Possess a Qatar driving license (manual)
- On tranferable visa in Qatar and available to join immediately

- Providing support for the academically low-performing students through guidance and motivation to help them improve and reach their full potential.
- Developing and/or following up on external exams preparation by going through previous exams as planned in the structured revision schedule (when applicable to specific grade levels).
- Aiding in duties that may include testing students, substituting for absent teachers, organizing students for lunches and buses, controlling traffic (vehicles and people), and other administrative duties as assigned by the school management.
- Preparing and participating in activity plans related to student life events such as but not limited to art, open houses, and physical education, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC).
- Attending training sessions when needed and as requested by the school management in order to enhance the understanding of the SABIS® system and improve the overall performance of students.
- Performing other related tasks or projects as they arise and as delegated by the school management.
