• Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent
  
• His/ her age is within or less than 38 years with a minimum of 10 years of experience in oil, gas, and water sample analysis.
  
• Experience in the oil and gas industries is highly recommended.
  
• Wide knowledge of safety rules and dealing with Chemicals.
  
• Sound knowledge of quality and ISO17025 accreditation.
  
• Have a wide experience in analytical instruments such as GC, GC/MS, ICP, and oil equipment such as distillation, flash point, and viscosity.
  
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
  
• Experience in MS Office, MS team, Sample Manger (LIMS), and lab operation software such as Openlab

You’ll be responsible for laboratory maintenance, preparing solutions and standards, ordering supplies, operating, and maintaining different lab equipment such as ICP, GC, HPLC, GC / MS, IR, WDXRF, among others. You will also maintain lab equipment and conduct minor troubleshooting for equipment breakdowns. The role involves working in a 4x4 shift pattern (12 hours).

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine analysis of daily oil, water, and gas samples
• Prepare solutions and reagents following standard procedures
• Maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and instruments used in analysis
• Handle unknown and non-routine samples
• Ensure compliance with lab quality standards and ISO 17025 accreditation
• Follow safety rules and standards for chemical hazards and radiation
• Monitor inventory levels and order materials and lab accessories
• Perform calibration and verification of lab equipment
• Operate various lab instruments such as ICP, HPLC, GC / MS, IR, XRD
• Perform additional tasks as required to meet lab objectives

We are keen to speak with professionals who have:

• A Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent
• Age within or less than 38 years with at least 10 years of experience in oil, gas, and water sample analysis
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and chemical handling
• Strong understanding of quality standards and ISO 17025 accreditation
• Experience with analytical instruments such as GC, GC / MS, ICP, and oil testing equipment like distillation, flash point, viscosity
