**Department**
GAS OPERATIONS
**Primary purpose of job**
Carry out field operational activities in a safe and efficient manner.
Check and ensure that all static and running equipment and report any abnormalities & deviation from the standard
operating procedure to panel operators or senior operator.
He shall record an d file all field logs with comments on any abnormal conditions noticed and also prepare all other
scheduled field checklists and report his findings to Sr operator and carry out multi skill job as and when required.
Prepare equipment or instrument as per SAP work request in providing isolation and safe access to maintenance personnel
and ensure job is completed in time. Visit offsite locations like wellheads, pig launchers, cross country pipelines as
gathering and injection headers.
This job is on 4x4 rotational work cycle and is based onshore.
**Experience & Skills**
Minimum 4 years in operating process plant in oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
**Education**
Completion of 12 years education followed by 3 years formal technical training in process plant operations pls relevent short
courses in safety, plant operations.

Job Purpose
The role holders in this level will have shift responsibility for monitoring, controlling and expertise in Operating the entire area in the field. They work independently with minimum supervision on a shift basis and will be required to have deep knowledge of the plant equipment, and an analytical approach and the ability to identify real and potential problems. Role holders at this level are deployed in the field on a shift basis and have responsibility for operating and monitoring field equipment, in an allocated area of the plant to assist in achieving effective optimum operational status.
Job Purpose
The role holders in this level will have shift responsibility for monitoring, controlling and expertise in Operating the entire area in the field. They work independently with minimum supervision on a shift basis and will be required to have deep knowledge of the plant equipment, and an analytical approach and the ability to identify real and potential problems. Role holders at this level are deployed in the field on a shift basis and have responsibility for operating and monitoring field equipment, in an allocated area of the plant to assist in achieving effective optimum operational status.
The role holders have an emergency response role and must ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with QAFCO Occupational Health, Quality, Safety and Environment procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and log all operating parameters to ensure operations are within normal limits that all irregularities are reported to immediate superiors.
- Monitor overall equipment performance to ensure export targets are met and that outputs meet quality standards. Prepare equipment performance reliability reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as required.
- Provide supervisor with work status reports to enable effective monitoring of overall progress against agreed plans.
- Gather and organize product movement and shipping data for recent production periods and compare performance to initial forecast. Use communication equipment to convey work instructions to hired manpower and mobile equipment operators and maintain contact with plant for feed and jetty and transport operators for export.
- Operate field equipment in accordance with operating procedures and approved safety and environment procedures to ensure effective and optimum operational status of equipment.
- Make decisions to stop/start equipment based on experience and abnormal situations. Provide immediate first-line response capability in the event of emergencies or major incidents to eliminate or limit potential loss or damage to QAFCO personnel, assets and the environment.
- Perform and provide the necessary assistant on-the-job training of new and trainee operators to ensure they develop the necessary skills to independently operate the allocated areas of the plant.
- Perform and adhere to housekeeping procedure to maintain a safe, clean and neat work environment.
- High School – 12 Years of education in relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 years direct experience working in Fertilizer, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Oil & Gas Industry.

- Experience in the start-up/shutdown and normal operations of power stations; installation, maintenance, testing and/or operation of gas turbine driven generators, transformers, pumps, motors, batteries, battery chargers, PLCs, 66kV indoor/outdoor substations, switch boards, oil/vaccum/SF6 gas insulated circuit breakers etc. Experience in operation of GE frame 6 gas turbines, Rolls Royce Avon gas generators, Speedtronic Mark V control system, Honeywell micro TDC 3000 operating system, etc will be an added advantage.

Job Purpose
Implement wellwork operations in the company's production and injection wells, meeting the Company’s targets in the most cost-effective manner, while maintaining the highest safety, environmental, and security standards.
Key Job Accountabilities
Implement all types of wellwork activities in the company's wells (offshore or onshore), ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Execute technologically complex rigless wellwork.
Follow proper programs, procedures, and guidelines to ensure safe and efficient wellwork operations. Identify significant findings, report to the Head of Well Operations or Offshore Operations, propose troubleshooting actions, and implement remedial measures. Seek review and approval for deviations. Report abnormalities and raise Incident Reports for any incidents.
Arrange equipment and personnel mobilization and demobilization. Coordinate with contractors and related divisions. Support well intervention division tasks as required.
Check equipment, tools, and consumables at the site for fitness and quantity. Advise Well Engineering on discrepancies to prevent downtime and schedule disruptions.
Safety and Risk Management
Conduct Last Minute Risk Assessments to mitigate risks. Lead regular Tool Box Talks to ensure crew awareness of operations and risks.
Analyze subsurface logging data to meet job objectives. Maintain detailed operation records and compile daily reports in Well View.
Implement well handover procedures safely and efficiently. Promote a safety culture aligned with the company's Incident and Injury Free (IIF) initiative.
Develop awareness of blowout prevention among crew and maintain blowout prevention readiness to prevent well control incidents.
Respond promptly to well control incidents, implementing the company's Well Control and Emergency Response Plans. Conduct well control drills to ensure crew preparedness.
Coordination and Optimization
Coordinate with Onshore and Offshore Operations, Maintenance, Project teams, Drilling, Completions, Petroleum Engineering, SEQ, Warehouse, and other disciplines to maximize well utilization, minimize downtime, and control expenses.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Natural Gas, Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in wellwork operations in oil and gas, including at least 5 years in rigless wellwork, offshore or onshore.
Experience with high pressure, high temperature, and toxic gas wells is preferred.
Knowledge of well engineering disciplines, including Wellhead, Tree & Surface Equipment, Subsurface Equipment, Cased Hole, Production Logging, Well and Tubular Design, Pressure Control Equipment, and Well Barrier requirements.
Proficiency in software applications like Well View, Emraude, Saphir for subsurface data.
Familiarity with Well Integrity Management, including Casing Pressure Management, Wellhead/Xmas Tree, and Down Hole Safety Valve Testing & Maintenance.
IWCF Certification in Well Intervention & Pressure Control (Level 4) is required.
