Job Description

Oversee and manage warehouse general operations and activities, receiving and delivering stocks, conducting stock checks, recording wastage and maintaining inventory. Responsible for data entry into the inventory management system as well as performing other back-up tasks in other areas within the department.
- Monitoring expiration dates at all times. Ensure First In First Out (FIFO) is followed.
- Scrutinize all goods arrived as per the agreed Local Purchase Order (LPO), delivery note and agreed quantity has been receiveb
- Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect good or items and returned items has been recorded properly.
- Responsible in preparing Good Receipt Note (GRN) and updating in the system stock ledger and forwarding it on daily basis alongside the invoice to finance.
- Monitor PAR levels for all items to ensure proper levels.
- Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
- Conduct physical counts which should be tallied with the inventory management system. Any discrepancies have to be investigated and the information to be given to the Finance Department
- Responsible in placing purchase request to procurement department.
