Job Description
- Monitoring expiration dates at all times. Ensure First In First Out (FIFO) is followed.
- Scrutinize all goods arrived as per the agreed Local Purchase Order (LPO), delivery note and agreed quantity has been receiveb
- Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect good or items and returned items has been recorded properly.
- Responsible in preparing Good Receipt Note (GRN) and updating in the system stock ledger and forwarding it on daily basis alongside the invoice to finance.
- Monitor PAR levels for all items to ensure proper levels.
- Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
- Conduct physical counts which should be tallied with the inventory management system. Any discrepancies have to be investigated and the information to be given to the Finance Department
- Responsible in placing purchase request to procurement department.
