ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and host nation Driver’s License.
- Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; copy required.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in transportation, demonstrating leadership skills.
- Skills: Attention to detail, knowledge of MHE operations, ocean freight procedures, workload prioritization, working under pressure, intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and organizational skills.
- Working Conditions: Capable of working in extreme weather (>120°F), in harsh indoor/outdoor environments, including desert conditions.

**About the role**

- Review the existing transportation arrangement within the Group to plan optimization of resources. Review and recommend changes / amendments if required in the existing contracts with service providers appointed for Transportation - review and recommendation of service provider’s prequalification documents.
- Develop and implement the work procedures and network of transport services including setting up the day to day operational schedules for user departments through RMS solutions.
- Develop schedule, guidelines and standard operating procedures and circulate the same to all users. Periodically assess adherence to ensure compliance and determine appropriate corrections, where necessary.
- Identify and capture requirements for transportation related demand from business units; ensure resources are made available to the relevant operations team to ensure company’s requirements, as per planned expansion program, are met on time.
- Identify the procurement strategy for transport services, ensure these are reviewed and approved by stakeholders across the Group; liaise with Group Procurement and business units to implement the strategy.
- Review and action requests for resources received by the Transport Department. Approve where necessary and recommend alternatives where available to minimize cost to the Group.
- Prepare and submit reports / updates to Senior as well as Executive Management to keep them informed on operational performance and any issues that could affect business operation / continuity.
Qualifications

- A minimum of 8 years specialist of job-related experience required.

- Thorough understanding of “Unit of Measurement “or UOM conversion for efficient planning.
- Preparation of obsolete items report for effective and timely stock liquidation to minimize disposal.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts for any new item requests from health centres for the complete specification and item description.
- Supplier’s invoice reconciliation with warehouse GRNs for timely payments.
- Monitor incoming stocks for agreed shelf life and advise the warehouse team on the acceptance or return of items back to the supplier.
- Follow up with the SCM planning support team for delays in procurement and escalate anticipated shortages to management. Ensure continuous and transparent reporting/feedback to management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for the annual stock count in PHCC stores and the central warehouse.
- Coordinate with ERP consultant for posting condemnation items transactions.
- Prepare the departmental KPIs on a periodic basis.
- Monitor items in Inventory planning and advise on space utilization recommending space optimization techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, finance, or any equivalent professional discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of core supply chain management experience which includes planning strategies, inventory management, stock reconciliation, operational experience etc.
- The consultant is expected to have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in ERP & advanced knowledge of WMS.
- Mandatory Advanced Excel & Power BI skills for reporting, forecasting, analysing and reconciliation.
- The incumbent should understand the end-to-end SCM business processes and be able to handle the operations daily.
