To undertake all necessary actions in order to ensure that the gas supply is working efficiently. To develop and implement necessary procedures to ensure that the gas distribution network in the complete geographical area is not interfered with or damaged by third parties.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operations
Manage and direct all gas distribution processes and operations in a safe and efficient manner to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets and specifications.
Ensure visual inspection of pipework and all equipment including firefighting system and associated instrumentation, PRS Meter reading, LPG Tank levels and SNG Plant monitoring
Ensure calibration of pressure and temperature sensors for EVC calibration of all gauges at the plant.
Review and issue NOC to the other utilities intending to work in the vicinity of the gas network.
Produce and implement a Quality Assurance Plan to ensure that inspection and testing of the gas distribution services is carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions.
Promote application of innovative technologies, improvements and development of infrastructures & facilities.
Investigate and analyze incidents, determine implications, action claims and carry out corrective action. Act proactively rather than reactively where possible.
Maintenance
Approve and manage all planned and routine maintenance of all plants and related ancillaries. Ensure continuous operations of facilities and equipment at all times and establish necessary procedures and actions to be taken as remedial steps according to established company policies and international standards.
Ensure periodic maintenance of the gas network including functional checks of critical equipment at SNG/LPG plant.
Maintain an accurate description and ongoing account of SNG/LPG YARD operations, ensure preventive maintenance records in place to provide accurate documentation of maintenance work or repairs that have been done on the equipment / systems.
Ensure that APM inspections are carried out in a timely and efficient manner and that SNG/LPG yard is annually inspected, tested, and certified.
Effectively control the material management process, ensuring that spares and consumables are available while avoiding stock write-offs and minimizing slow moving stock.
Planning
Lead and manage the planning and coordination for the supply and filling of LPG tanks with WOQOD.
Oversee conducting of periodical internal audits.
People Management
Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the assigned section by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.
Lead the talent development initiatives for the assigned section, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements.
Budgeting and Financial Planning
Manage the preparation and recommend the sectional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.
