Based in Doha within the Middle East Business Unit and reporting to the General Counsel of SPIE Global Services Energy in France, the Regional Lawyer will be the head of all legal matters (corporate, contracts, legal affairs and compliance) in the area. The Regional Lawyer's main responsibilities will be:

1. For Corporate/Disputes Matters
- Providing legal secretarial services to SPIE Global Services Energy companies in the Middle East and Asia, including drafting agendas and minutes, approving financial statements, granting mandates/delegations of authority, incorporation of various companies, transfers of shares, and subsequent formalities, etc.;
- Participating in the execution of extraordinary transactions (mergers, restructurings such as share transfers, etc.);
- Reviewing, drafting, and monitoring all types of corporate contracts and various documents;
- Actively participate in the processing and resolution of corporate legal issues encountered by SPIE Global Services Energy in the Middle East and Asia, and work daily to secure the contractual commitments of Group companies and prevent legal risks;

- Contribute to the analysis and monitoring of pre-litigation, litigation, and/or transactional procedures;
Participate in the drafting of commercial leases (initial leases, amendments, etc.);
- Contribute to risk analysis in the context of contractual arrangements or growth or restructuring operations (participation in audits, etc.);

-Update contractual documentation;
- Contribute to supporting operational staff to advise them on legal issues encountered;

2. Contracts
Review, draft, and qualify a wide variety of contracts (MOUs, confidentiality agreements, partnership agreements, service contracts, operations and maintenance contracts, turnkey projects) and participate in their negotiations;
  • Review and negotiate bank and parent company guarantees;
  • Prepare legal documentation for responses to calls for tenders;
  • Participate in the risk review process by identifying legal and contractual risks and providing support to avoid or mitigate these risks, proposing innovative solutions to mitigate them;
  • Provide legal advices.

Profile

With a postgraduate legal degree (Bac +5) in Business Law and Corporate Law, you have at least 7 years of experience in a senior position in a firm or in-house company. You are willing to take in charge all the legal affairs of an entire region.

English is required for this position.

You demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills and are recognized for your writing skills.

Pragmatism, adaptability, autonomy, rigor, initiative and a taste for teamwork are the qualities that will allow you to succeed in this position.

Qualifications for the Role:
  • Educational: Graduate in Electrical/Automation Engineering (preferably electrical automation).
  • Experience and Process Automation Industry Background: Over 8 years of experience in process automation or the Oil & Gas industry onshore and offshore for process automation, including 5+ years either in Technical Account Management or Technical Lead or Engineering/Service Lead roles in Process Automation business is a Must-Have. (Candidates who work currently in Sales Manager roles and have a previous experience as Technical Lead or Engineering/Service Lead roles in process automation can be considered).
  • Technical Process Automation Expertise: Strong hands-on technical experience with DCS , Safety Systems (ESD/FGS), SCADA /RTU, PMS/ELICS is a Must-Have along with ABB or other OEM systems; deep knowledge of ABB solutions including Legacy Systems (Infi90, Freelance), ICSS (AC800M/AC800MHI), and Instrumentation.
  • Skills & Communication: Proficient in industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC, Profibus, Profinet, FF), with the ability to understand customer needs and propose timely solutions; fluent in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  3. Customer Relation Management / Account Management
    • Act as a single point of contact for the customer always

    • Provide customized client-specific support during the three stages of client management: Bidding Cycle Management, Project Implementation, Recurring Service / after-sales support
    • Work closely with the project team to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status for identifying potential issues and/or opportunities within the project
    • Be involved from the project kickoff meeting until the final project sign-off; attend project meetings extensively and monitor customer satisfaction levels during implementation, take proactive measures to ensure and maintain customer satisfaction

  4. Upselling And Cross-Selling

    • Identify and develop new leads from existing accounts
    • Increase the services offered to the customer. The role holder may be expected to increase the income generated by cross-sell and up-sell
    • Promote all iHorizons products/ services as they become available
    • Build trust and strengthen relationships by keeping customers informed on the way emerging technologies can help their business
    • Prepare briefings on the business, technical, and financial benefits of technology and collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions.
  5. General Account Administration
    • Support the Sales Operations team to maintain and update the customer file for each client, which includes copies of contracts, proposals, letters, delivery notes, invoices etc.
    • Support the Sales Operations team on contract renewals
    • Facilitate maintenance (reducing churn) of existing customers to ensure renewal of annuity contracts
    • Follow up on invoices and be responsible for payment collections
    • Have a full understanding of all current and old contracts signed with the customer and complete knowledge of our services and cost structure
  6. CRM and Reporting
    • Use iHorizons CRM to log and update all activities and generate sales reports
    • Provide other ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by the Sales Manager
  7. Other Ongoing tasks
    • Visit major customers regularly, to strengthen relations and establish business opportunities
    • Entertain customers as and when necessary, to build strong relationships with them
    • Build relationships with the senior business and financial executives who influence purchasing decisions in customer companies
    • Maintain relationships with technical decision makers such as the Chief Information Officer, Information Technology Director, and Information Technology Manager on a day-to-day level
    • Coordinate with the Marketing Communications Coordinator on identifying and executing marketing opportunities
    • Participate in trade shows and technology events to promote company products and develop leads
Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Computer Sciences, or a related field
  • Should show evidence of continued education in the field of Sales and Technology

Previous Work Experience

  • Minimum experience of 5 years, out of which the last 1-2 years should be in a similar role
  • Experience in customized enterprise IT solution sales is mandatory
  • Experience in sales within the “Digital Transformation” space is highly preferred
  • Sales experience in the Middle East and specifically in Qatar is highly preferred but not mandatory
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus

  • Proactively tracks partner incentive utilization and impact on pipeline velocity and influences the partner to improve performance. Tracks quarterly forecast to ensure it meets and/or exceeds revenue accountability.
  • Sales Process & Sales Management
  • Proactively initiates sales planning with assigned partners and ensures coverage to support targets. Monitors, manages, and provides insights into a predictable sales pipeline rhythm of business (RoB) with assigned partners. Manages and supports top partner Enterprise deals and overall partner revenue aligned to solution area.
  • Guides partners on solution play and ensures partners have capability and capacity to deliver the value proposition of the solution play. Leads Enterprise pipeline management meetings and unblocks deals by connecting with Microsoft resources. Drives creative and advanced plans leveraging all of the Microsoft internal resources (e.g., investments, funding) and coaches the partner on how to accelerate their sale process using these tools/resources. Drives business reviews with key partner stakeholders and holds partners accountable for delivery against agreed plan.
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of, and upholds Microsoft's current compliance processes.

Role

Senior Sales Executive to join our team, focusing on the sales of laundry equipment, spare parts, and AMC contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of laundry machinery and maintenance solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in laundry equipment and spare parts markets.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets by actively pursuing new clients and maintaining existing customer relationships.
  • Present and demonstrate laundry machinery and parts to potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations.
  • Promote and sell AMC contracts for maintenance and service of laundry equipment.

HVAC Sales Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the HVAC sector within Qatar.
  • Promote and sell HVAC systems, products, and solutions to contractors, consultants, and end-users.
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients.
  • Work closely with the design and engineering teams to provide technical support and ensure client requirements are met.
  • Conduct site visits to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals in line with company policies.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure after-sales support.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC sales experience in Qatar or GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, applications, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.


Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Qatar market regulations and tendering process.
