The incumbent will assist in the development and deployment of management reports, dashboards and business intelligence solutions to fulfill the business need/ to enhance the decision making capabilities of the Products and Segments function of the Retail Banking division. The incumbent will gather and analyze information/data, through analysis, graphs, data modeling, presentations and dashboards using various BI tools pertaining to retail accounts portfolio, within the frame work of the policies and procedures set by the Bank/regulatory guidelines.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the internal customers to gather requirements on business needs at both organizational and functional level for the design of BI solutions.
- Support in the review, and rationalization of new data requirements raised by the internal customers to avoid data repetition.
- Support in detailed data analysis and modelling, in support of the business requirements, and in preparing reports outlining relevant business information.
- Provide support to the Business Intelligence Manager and the test teams in resolving issues based on test results.
- Verify and maintain the quality of metadata depository through addition, removal, and/or revision of data, as applicable/as directed by the BI Manager.
- Assist in delivery of high quality information deliverables, for example analysis, management information reporting, data extracts, and campaign files in both a regularly scheduled and ad hoc manner.
- Assist the Business Intelligence Manager in formulating queries for the extraction of reports from Business Objects and provide daily dashboard comprising of daily, monthly and yearly movements of products.
- Ensure usage of appropriate and approved data sources, business rules, and end product content or format and delivery mechanisms, as directed by the Manager, to meet various BI requirements.
- Provide necessary analysis support in reviewing the utilization of downloaded data and reports to determine the feasibility of complete automation of reporting.
- Assist in coordination efforts with, and provide analytical support to the Information Technology and operating divisions, on implementation of long-range and short-range plans.
- Support in analysis and reporting of branch-wise data on movement of Savings and Fixed Deposits, and status of Green Accounts.
- Support in preparation of dashboard on branch performance, and daily MTD and YTD RAG analysis of branches, ranking them according to their achievement for various products.
- Support in providing measurements for promotions during promotional period, based on data availability.
- Support in analysis and reporting of profitability of products, based on data availability.
- Support in verification of the incentive calculations for DSU and CLU by checking the data with the available data in Business Objects.
- Support in formulation of appropriate templates and suggestions for efficient data entry by the respective units that cater to BIU.
- Assist in providing analysis reports / consolidation of data for various HO/ external presentations, as requested by Retail Banking management team.
- Support in the preparation of MIS reports on Personal Loan Portfolio monthly movements, RLM booking check for incentive, Retail Loan MIS Deck, Monthly Non Performing Loans analysis and other Ad-hoc reports as requested by Retail Banking management.
- Support in research efforts in identifying best practices, and review of present systems to identify opportunities to improve delivery of BI insights to business stakeholders, and suggest appropriate changes to effect improvement.
- Maintain and utilize business intelligence and reporting tools necessary for supporting multiple business lines and their reporting needs.
- Follow the audit, compliance and procedural control measures set by the management.
- Maintain highest standards of confidentiality, professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services in the unit.
- Work cross-functionally in constant improvement of data management systems, outlining an inclusive data migration/ integration approach in terms of data clean-up, quality control/management and preservation, and in execution of post-project evaluation through relevant data metrics.
