Our client manufactures and distributes building materials across the Middle East region. Now in a phase of expansion, they require a dynamic, self-starting country CFO for their operations in Qatar.

The successful person will be responsible for managing all financial-related matters as part of the senior management team.

Key Responsibility Areas:
  1. Financial accounting & Treasury/Cash Management
  2. Working Capital Management
  3. Cash flow & cost management
  4. Due Diligence
  5. Fund Raising
  6. Preparation of various MIS reports & submissions of the same to the management
  7. Supervision of the day-to-day accounts of the company
  8. Handling the audit of the financials and assisting the auditors in completion of the audit by fulfilling the various audit requirements
  9. Strategic planning for optimum deployment of funds
  10. Debtors Control
  11. Supervision of the staff in the regular day-to-day accounting functions
Legal Issues:
  1. Preparation of agreements & scrutiny of sub-contractor agreements
  2. Liaising with lawyers for various cases
  3. Preparation of legal letters & notices
Minimum Requirements:
  1. At least 2 years experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry ideally
  2. Must have experience of implementing new policies and procedures
  3. Experience of imposing and managing change and development
  4. University Graduate
  5. Qualified Accountant
  6. Excellent communication and organization skills

Salary: c40,000 QAR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring alignment between finance, operations, and overall business objectives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the group.
  • Oversee internal controls, cash flow management, working capital, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team on capital allocation, investment strategy, and growth initiatives.
