What you'll do
- Supervise installation, testing & commissioning (T&C) and preventive/corrective maintenance for road blockers, barriers, CCTV, UVSS and related ELV systems.
- Plan tasks, allocate technicians/subcontractors, and enforce HSE and QA/QC on site.
- Run FAT/SAT, method statements, checklists, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with client, consultant, vendors and logistics for permits, deliveries, cranes, and lane closures.
- Troubleshoot complex faults, ensure SLA compliance, and produce daily/weekly progress reports.
- Train end users and hand over with O&M manuals and spares lists.
Qualifications
- Diploma/BSc in Electrical/Telecom/Security (or equivalent), 5–8 years in perimeter/security systems with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Hands-on with road blockers/barriers, CCTV (IP/PoE), networking, UVSS, ANPR/LPR, and T&C.
- Familiar with crash-ratings, HSE, permits, and traffic-management on live sites.
- Driving license; strong English (Arabic a plus). Vendor certs (Axis/Genetec/Milestone/Lenel, etc.) are an advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees and establishment needs during shift
- Report to the Chief Security all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards
- Initiate action to improve a hazardous situation immediately
- Implement procedures for security and emergency incidents
- In the event of fire, be thoroughly familiar with and guided by the hotel's emergency plan
- Be familiar with location of fire alarms and fire fighting equipment
- Maintain the security system
- Monitor staff clock in on and off duty
- Allocate staff locker keys as necessary
- Conduct random checks of key registers in telephone room, banqueting, engineering, stewarding and housekeeping to ensure the hotel's key control policy is adhered to and report on discrepancies

Job Description
- Training of Security employees in all regulations and factors affecting the operations of the Hotel. e.g. Fire prevention and safety procedures, basic firefighting, preservation of crime scene and evidence, actions, duties and powers where crime is detected, action in crisis situations and report writing
- Supervise the daily processing and distribution of security reports to the Management team.
- To be trained and prepared for all emergency situations as per procedures.
- In close coordination with the Engineering department, to conduct regular preventive maintenance of all safety equipment.

- Review Security logbook daily and takes action if needed.
- Be familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility
- Keeps updating the emergency manual, with appropriate procedures and forms with the consultation of the Security Manager.
- Security logbook: A daily copy of the security logbook needs to forward to the General Manager / Hotel manager and Head of Departments.
- Contractor/Visitor logbooks: Any visitor; supplier; contractor /or moving company needs to report to the security office to receive induction on emergency procedures as well as receiving a pass. All relevant details need to be recorded in the visitor's register.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, Postsecondary Degree or certificate recommended
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the Gulf region
- Experience working with multicultural teams
