Your day-to-day- Responsible for correct operation of physical plant and all engineering facilities of entire property during shifts in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance program and operation schedule.
- Responsible during shift as Engineering Supervisor for the Fire fighting squadron with all firefighting equipment throughout the Property according to the Safety and Fire fighting Policy and Procedures.
- Responsible for keeping accurate operating logs according to established policy and procedures.
- Responsible for correct execution of established maintenance program for his section.
- Responsible for and do all necessary repairs in his section ensuring maximum utilization and minimum breakdowns of assigned equipment.
- Responsible for preparing work schedules of assigned personnel.
- Is responsible for distribute of repair and maintenance work in his section.
- Is responsible for writing on backside of work order, assumed reason for breakdowns/replacements.
- Is responsible for preparing monthly production and consumption report for his action.
- Whenever it is not possible to gain entry to an area to affect works, he should immediately notify the Duty Manager and/or Executive Housekeeper.
- In the event of any equipment giving trouble which may affect the comfort of the guest, the Duty Manager and U.M. Engineer/Asst. Chief Engineer must be notified immediately.
- Effectively communicate and market aspects of the hotels that are sustainable or “green” and use information to gain new business opportunities.
- If it is not possible to raise or lower the temperature in any guestroom to meet the guest, the Duty Manager and / or Assistant Chief Engineer should be notified immediately.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hotel or commercial building maintenance environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, Electrical License, or EPA Certification) are a plus.

Monitoring the performance of all solar power generation equipment, including PV panels, inverters, batteries, and tracking systems
Conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues affecting energy production
Troubleshooting plant performance problems and collaborating with technical teams to resolve them
Analyzing energy output, system efficiency, and weather data to optimize plant performance
Adjusting panel angles and tracking systems to maximize energy absorption
Promptly responding to alarms and abnormal operating conditions to maintain consistent power generation
Preparing detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on plant operations
The Ideal Candidate :
To be successful in this role, you will need :
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on solar / photovoltaic systems
8-10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years working with large-scale (100MW+) solar power plants
Extensive knowledge of PV system design, operation, and maintenance
Strong understanding of grid integration and coordination with utility providers
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills
The ability to work rotating shifts and perform onsite inspections as needed
